I have tested this speaker in car and home cinema configurations. What I can say that in both it rocks. The amount of pressure that it can develop is astonishing. To power it in car I used Vibe amplifier. At home it was hooked to Technics SU810 as power source, sub tonal signal was supplied from Yamaha RXV800 Sub woofer output. Fact that it is closed box it is almost impossible to overload the driver (if the audio signal is not cracked). And it can get very loud.
